Canvas Prints
Ink
We only use GENUINE Epson Ultrachrome K3 pigment ink. Incorporating high density pigments, Epson UltraChrome K3 produces
prints with an extremely wide color gamut allowing the reproduction of
colors that were originally envisioned at the point of capture. With its
expanded color gamut and breakthrough 8-color system, no other ink set
can reproduce the three dimensional lifelike quality and stunning
photographic feel of Epson UltraChrome K3. Our printer uses eight cartridges for amazing photographic reproduction!
Media
Torino Bright White Poly/Cotton pH neutral Canvas is used on all of our
canvas prints, it boasts a subtle texture and a specially designed
coating which delivers superior colour gamut and resolution. It has the
added bonus of water resistance when used with the pigment inks we
print with and it passes the 100 year Display Permance Rating from
Wilheim Imaging Research, Inc. when coated and under controlled
conditions.
Laminate Coating
We don't stop there! We also coat your canvas with a Laminate prior to
stretching for no extra charge! The GicleeShield II is an
environmentally friendly, coating which is completely waterproof,
antifungal and is Australian designed and manufactured. The laminate
coating enables you to wipe your canvas down when it gets dusty without
the fear of smudging or scratching. We hand roll our laminate to ensure
an even coverage.
Stretcher Bars
Our stretcher bars are kiln dried and finger jointed with tongue and
groove ends. Made from sustainable regrowth timber , they do not use
Australian hardwood timber or non-regrowth Asian rainforest timber -
many of these contain larger amounts of tannin or tannic acid which can
be harmful to your print.
Gallery Finish
We take the utmost pride in our work, which is why every canvas that
goes out our door leaves with a proper gallery finish at no extra
charge. No exposed staples, loose ends or baggy corners! We also
attach the hangstring on the inside of the frame so your canvas will fit
flush against your wall with no unsightly gaps!
